エアリーク試験。端末に空気圧をかけることで、一定以上の気密性が保たれている場合は端末自体が変形する。その変形量を計測することで、防水性能を正しく有しているかを確認するタッチパネルに対する自動圧迫試験。タッチパネル全体を100箇所前後、先端直径10mmの機材で10kgの荷重を加え、耐えることを確認するコネクタ耐久試験。USBケーブルを接続した状態で、コネクタの根元に上下および左右方向から2kgの力を5000回ずつ加え、問題ないことを確認する1.5メートル、26方向からコンクリートに落下させる試験。正確に26方向から衝突させるため、最後まで正確にその方向を維持する吸盤を用いた試験機材を新たに開発したこちらは従来型の試験機。スマートフォンを載せた天板を開いて自由落下させるものだが、落下中に方向が変わってしまうため、狙った角度で落下させるのには不向きだった捩り試験。端末の上下で把持し、5kgの力で1万回ねじりを繰り返す。このデモでは筐体の変形がわかりやすいようにより強い力でねじられていたが、それでも端末に問題は発生していなかった電源キー押下試験。通常使用で考えられる3年間相当11万回の電源オン・オフをひたすら繰り返し、問題ないことを確認する荷重試験。端末中央部に30kgの荷重を加え、問題ないことを確認する。ズボンのお尻ポケットにスマートフォンを入れて、そのままイスに座ったときのことを想定したもの折りたたみ型携帯電話の開閉を11万回繰り返す、ヒンジの耐久試験を行う機材もある
